I'm not really that kind of person who gets fascinated with gadgets... except of course if it's a gift...
Last December 26, 2007, it was SOCO's post Christmas PArty, when our Production head Mr. Lester Chavez handed to me his donated apple i-pod shuffle for our yearly raffle. Then I said 'AKIN TO, AKO MAY-ARI NITO, AKO MANANALO SA RAFFLE.' My officemates and Sir les laughed at me when I said that. They said I should donate it if I'm gonna win since I'm the Associate Producer of the program and the organizer of the party. Instead I said a big "NO" to them. Of course, i was just joking at that time. After that, I kept it inside my bag.
Here comes the party... The most awaited part, it;s raffle time!!! All the minor prizes were given first to the lucky winners...(kasama din dito yung dino-nate ko na oven toaster,Kuripot me!!) Then, it was the i-pod's turn to be given. Of course, I got it from my bag but still I insist to my officemates that it's mine. I got really surprised when my name was called as the winner. Hahahaha!!!! I kept it at once. Everybody was yelling 'DONATE!DONATE!DONATE!". They said that I manipulated the raffle ...hahahaha!!! Sorry to all!!!
This is how positive thinking works for me... You claim it as your own, then you'll have it!!!
